Nectarines--Peaches without Irritation!

Ingredients

4 washed and pitted organic nectarines
1 & 1/2 cup buttermilk--I used Organic Valley Organic Buttermilk
2 TBSP dark Agave syrup
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cayenne powder (if desired for that subtle kick!)

Directions

This is a great lunch smoothie with a muffin or a bagel.  You can also make it a day ahead a freeze it in a thermos for a grab-and-go on your way to work or school!  It will be thawed by lunchtime, but still cold.

We have another month or so of nectarine season, so enjoy them while you can!
