Thanks to Everyone, the Los Padres NF is More Protected!

Lassen’s loves to celebrate Earth Day every year! But this time, we decided to spread the joy and invited all of our community to join in helping a good cause! As I wrote on April 22, we chose to partner with Los Padres Forest Watch, a great organization that watchdogs one of the beautiful natural spaces we have in California, the vast Los Padres National Forest. We invited all of you to shop for a cause on Earth Day, 2014!
Recently Peter and I met with Jeff to present their organization with the fruits of that effort–a check for a percentage of the sales on Earth Day, April 26, 2014.
It was a great visit with Jeff, Craig, Diane, and their intern, Tanner. And it was great knowing that we were able to contribute, with your help, to a wonderful organization that watches out for one of our beautiful natural places.
Peter had a great time talking to Craig about the forest, fishing, protected areas, and hiking. And we hope to partner with the Forest Watch for upcoming events and clean-ups.
